UNS Accent Stones

Ohko

Dragon Stone (Ohko) Accent Stones are the perfect solution for hobbyists looking to add finer details and intricate textures to a hardscape. These smaller fragments feature the same iconic, scale-like texture and earthy reds, yellows, and browns as full-sized stones, but in a size that is much easier to manage for nanoscapes or detailed foreground work. Because of their smaller size, these natural stone pieces have great stacking potential, allowing you to build miniature cliffs or fill in gaps between larger boulders for a more cohesive, aged look. Its clay-like composition makes it brittle compared to other rocks, allowing aquatic plants to easily self-attach. These accent pieces are also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures.

Pieces from packages will range from 1-3", making them a perfect choice for nano aquarium scapes or adding finer details to an existing scape. Each bag is approximately 2.2 lbs per order.

Notes:

  • Dragon Stone is inert and will not influence water parameters.
  • We recommend rinsing stones thoroughly before use to remove any natural dust or sediment.
  • Stone coloration darkens when wet.
  • Dragon Stone can be easily broken into smaller pieces with a chisel and hammer.
 Seiryu

Seiryu Accent Stones are the smallest whole pieces of our boutique pieces, serving as a versatile tool for adding depth and realism to any hardscape. Seiryu is renowned for its iconic craggy texture and endless natural details, making it an incredibly popular pick in the hobby. These smaller pieces can be placed at the base of larger centerpieces or used as the primary natural stone for nanoscapes. This natural rock is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully as a sophisticated accent in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures where fine detail is key.

Pieces from packages will range from 1-3 inches. Each bag is approximately 3 lbs per order.

Notes:

  • Seiryu may slightly raise pH and water hardness. Controsoil can help balance that out.
  • We recommend rinsing stones thoroughly before use to remove any natural dust or sediment.
  • Stone coloration darkens when wet.

These natural rock accents are also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully as a sophisticated accent in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures.
